WordLeap Released!
Posted on September 29, 2013, 2:04am
It's been a while since we've put out a new game. WordLeap is an arcade action vocabulary game where your goal is to score points by making rare words. There are several game modes, each with its own play style, which should provide something enjoyable for every type of player.
The game is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. A free demo is provided so you can try the game out. The game may be purchased for $1.00, which gives you access to the full version and soundtrack downloads.
Download links and info are available on the WordLeap project page.
The Devil 1.2.1 and Soundtrack Released
Posted on May 02, 2013, 11:31pm
ptitSeb ported The Devil to the OpenPandora a few weeks back and I've been working with him to make changes to the game to accommodate that platform. While working on it, I went ahead and fixed several deficiencies as well.
The most notable changes are a new Display Options menu for configuring the display, more in-depth configuration for analog controllers, and improvements to the user interface. I also fixed a potential crash bug in the leaderboard code as well as made the game attempt to autodetect a dual analog controller if one is available. A full list of improvements is available in the changelog included with the game.
The game is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, as always. Linux users can now get the Ubuntu i386 or amd64 package or get the source and build it as in previous releases. OpenPandora users can follow the provided link to get the game from the repository.
In addition, the soundtrack has been made available. Head over to The Devil's project page for more info and download links.
Game Soundtracks Are Coming
Posted on December 20, 2012, 7:52pm

The first two soundtracks are available right now. Head over to the Food Boy and Light Breaker project pages if you are interested in either of those soundtracks.

T³ Interactive Blog Launched!
Posted on August 31, 2012, 10:03am
It's been pretty silent around here lately, mostly because we are in the middle of some projects and don't have any news to post yet. There have been times when I've wanted to talk something but didn't because I wouldn't consider it newsworthy. Travis also expressed interest in having an official blog so here it is. It isn't well integrated into the site yet but it is functional and we will be using it. Check it out if you want the inside info on all things T³.

New Food Boy Comic
Posted on February 25, 2011, 4:17pm
I just posted a new Food Boy Comic: Issue #87 - Sawed-Off. I added Issue #86 recently, but I didn t make an announcement about it. I also just realized that I first began posting cartoon-styled depictions of Food Boy s misadventures in the year 2000, so it s been over a decade since the first issue showed up online. I m going to try to make it to #100, hopefully before another 10 years melt off the calendar. Thanks to the people who read these comics for encouraging me to do more, and a big thanks to those who have supported T^3 over the years.

Posted on February 24, 2010, 7:50pm
We have just released a demo of our upcoming game Paintball Party 2. This demo is just a taste of what s to come in the full game. Because PP2 has legacy support for content from the first game and developing the new content could take a while we decided to release a demo for everyone to play with while we work on the new content. The final game will have all-new graphics, levels, characters, and music. A test character is included which demonstrates the new player capabilities, particularly 8-directional aiming. Legacy characters also have new abilities, such as strafing and jumping through semi-solid surfaces. Head over to the Paintball Party 2 project page for additional information and download links.

I ve spent the last couple of days working on a new Java Food Boy Christmas game, fittingly titled Food Boy Christmas 2006. It s kind of unfinished, but I figured I d go ahead and post it here before the 25th came around. Rest assured that there are many falling treats to ingest, along with bombs to avoid. I can t say whether high scores and sounds are working properly, since I haven t had much time to test it.
Hope everyone gets a few minutes of amusement out of it anyway :)

vGolf Progress
Posted on September 29, 2005, 5:37am
We re working on updating vGolf some more, mostly graphically, but also in terms of gameplay and other features. Here are a couple of screenshots of the new course graphics. The first is from a new course called Seabreeze Straits, and the second is a revamped version of the original course, using vector graphics.
Posted on August 19, 2005, 2:00am
I've revamped the site a little bit to hopefully bring some more focus to all the games from NewCreature Design as well as the future projects we're working on. The Games page looks a lot nicer now.
Also moved all the old DOS games to a Classic Games page.
Posted on August 14, 2005, 2:00am
T^3 and NewCreature Design will be merging soon. Todd's old site is inaccessible right now, but you can access all of NewCreature's projects at ncdgames.t3-i.com. I might end up overhauling t3-i.com in the near future to make everything more cohesive.
Added an oven-fresh download to the newly-released update of vGolf.
Posted on August 08, 2005, 2:00am
The collaboration with NCD Games brings you vGolf v0.5. This new, more polished version includes some nice new stuff like actual vocal commentary, much-improved physics, experimental online play, as well as 3 courses to putt around in. If you want a direct link to the download, here it is. Hopefully we'll be working on some more projects together in the future, since this one seems to have turned out so well.
Posted on August 01, 2005, 2:00am
After a long wait, here's a new Food Boy Comic.
Keep checking NCD Games in the coming days and weeks for a new release of vGolf, along with a shiny new course that's hopefully a few notches below the last Space-themed course in the frustration department.
I was going to add some new sketches, but my scanner's on the fritz right now. I'll probably have a bunch of new stuff up there in the near future, though.
Posted on July 10, 2005, 2:00am
Added an option to show all the scores for Word Mix on the games page.
Uploaded the latest version of an Ack-Ack Attack clone called Siege. It's still pretty incomplete (you can't die yet, collision problems, etc.), but there it is if anyone wants to blow some stuff up.
Todd from NCD Games has been working on implementing online play in vGolf, and we've ironed out pretty much all of the old bugs. After testing it, it plays pretty nicely, and hopefully we'll have a revamped release at some point in the future.
Posted on June 24, 2005, 2:00am
Word Mix is pretty much done now.
Along the same vein, here's a random word search generator. It generates a printable word search puzzle given the parameters you specify.
Added both of the above to the games page.
Posted on June 20, 2005, 2:00am
Added a test version of a Java word search game, Word Mix. It doesn't do anything after you clear the board, and timed gameplay isn't functional yet, but other than that, the game is practically done.
Posted on June 16, 2005, 2:00am
I've been working on a Java crossword puzzle game, but I managed to make a php crossword program that spits out a printable puzzle from a formatted text file. Here's a test puzzle. The solutions are here.
Posted on June 09, 2005, 2:00am
Almost finished with Viper Java, but there are still a few bugs that need to be worked out. You can find it on the Games page.
Added some more random drawings. I think most of the links on the site are working properly now also.
Posted on May 29, 2005, 2:00am
Uploaded an early version a new game called Word-Type. It's kind of a cross between R-Type and Mavis Beacon. There's still a few bugs to work out, and high scores aren't implemented yet, but I'll probably have that finished within the next week.
Posted on May 23, 2005, 2:00am
It's been a little while, but T^3 now has a spiffy sorta-new homepage. The address is now https://www.t3-i.com.
There's still a lot of stuff that hasn't been finished on the site yet, so some links are probably broken. I'll probably have it all fixed up within a week or so, so stay tuned.
I've also added a new Sketches page, which will have scans of a bunch of random drawings I've managed to come up with. Most of them are pretty non-sensical, but I'm putting them here just in case anyone wants to take a gander at them.

I've also added a new addon course to download, called Galaxy Grounds. Get it here.
Posted on August 23, 2003, 2:00am
I've uploaded the latest build of vGolf, the minigolf game I've been working on. It's still a little rough around the edges, but it's more or less finished now. The download includes the base course, but I'm working on finishing up the next course, which should have a little more variety.
